Does the camera have to be HD?

Hello everyone!
I recently came across this thought. I have an HD camcorder and one regular camera. And I actually think that the regular one has better quality. Isn't that right?

I mean, does the Camera have to be HD? No. Of course not!

At the end its just a matter of taste.

It's really no difference in quality, just in resolution, which isnt even that important for the kind of videos that i do.
